What it is about

You will learn to distinguish and apply psychological fundamentals of prevention and health promotion. In the end, you can analyze the needs of a target group and plan and justify a target-group-specific intervention program using the Intervention Mapping Framework.

  • understand main methods and approaches of preventive psychology
  • discuss and evaluate health promotion and prevention approaches from a psychological perspective

  • apply the Intervention Mapping Framework in intervention planning

  • Praktikum / SeminarApplication of the six steps of the Intervention Mapping Framework in group work to create an own health promotion program
