What it is about
You will learn common topics from neurology (e.g., Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, stroke, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury): epidemiology, disease course, diagnostic criteria and common therapeutic approaches. You will acquire knowledge on the effectiveness, indications and contraindications of movement-based interventions, lifestyle-relevant factors, and phases of development and evaluation of clinical interventions. In the end you will be able to recommend appropriate training and lifestyle adjustments and design and conduct an experimental or intervention study design for affected individuals.
