Systems Engineering - Grundlagen

What it is about

You will learn the fundamentals of Systems Engineering: methods, processes and tools for the development of technical systems over their lifecycle. In the end you will be able to derive requirements from stakeholder needs, perform simple architecture and trade-off analyses, apply selected system modelling techniques, and design and adapt a Systems Engineering approach for a project.

What you will be able to do

• Describe and discuss the main tools and processes of Systems Engineering
• Identify project stakeholders and derive requirements from stakeholder needs
• Conduct trade-off analyses and simple systems-architecture studies in early project phases
• Discuss system modelling techniques and apply selected techniques to technical systems
• Discuss and adapt a Systems Engineering approach over the lifecycle of a project
• Collaborate as a team to achieve common goals
• Evaluate given Systems Engineering approaches and propose improvements
