AI-edited module sheet. Based on the TUMonline module description, edited for readability.Original in TUMonline

What it is about

You will learn to address mobility from three perspectives: understanding demand and costs, modeling mobility systems, and designing new solutions (e.g., C.A.S.E.: Connected, Autonomous, Shared, Electrified). In the end you will be able to assess regional and international mobility demand, model mobility solutions, evaluate economically and ecologically, and test concepts through simulations.

What you will be able to do

  • Assessment of time-space mobility demand nationally and internationally
  • Collection and analysis of mobility data for specific target regions
  • Modeling, comparison and evaluation of C.A.S.E.-mobility solutions
  • Quantification of economic, ecological and social impacts of mobility
  • Assessment of new mobility solutions by full cost
  • Design and simulation-based testing of new mobility concepts
  • Integration of demand, infrastructure, operations, and system requirements
  • Organization and work in interdisciplinary teams (in Campus Mobility Lab)

What the module consists of
