Telling Stories with R and Data Visualizations

What it is about

In this module you will learn to create meaningful graphical representations of social and political data with R and ggplot2. By the end you will be able to visualize different data types, obtain insights, and communicate visually in a comprehensible way – for example time series, heatmaps, model outputs and interactions.

What you will be able to do

• Create effective visualizations of social and political science data
• Apply different graphical approaches to various data types
• Graphically represent model outputs (coefficients, uncertainty, predicted probabilities)
• Develop and present visual stories in a comprehensible way
• Provide reproducible analyses with R code and dataset
