Advanced Environmental and Natural Resource Economics

What it is about

You learn economic models for the use and management of natural resources, including dynamic optimization for renewable and non-renewable resources, joint production, and applications of game theory to resource management. In the end you will be able to derive optimal time paths of resource use, incorporate resources into growth models and into measures of welfare and sustainability, and apply theoretical concepts to real problems.

Consider resources in welfare and sustainability measurements
Recognize positive externalities in production systems
Apply resource economic theory to real cases

Presentation and written summary of a topic from theory and practice
Critical integration of different viewpoints on resource use
