Operations Research & Decision Analysis (MiM)

What it is about

You will learn to apply management-science methods to model, solve, and analyze operational decision problems. In the end you will be able to formulate and solve linear and mixed-integer models, analyze network flows and dynamic programming, and use decision trees and utility theories for risky decisions.

What you will be able to do

• Model and solve linear programs
• Model and solve mixed-integer programs
• Network problems: find shortest paths and maximum flows
• Apply dynamic programming
• Model and evaluate decision matrices and decision trees
• Apply utility theory to model risky decisions
• Use scoring models for multi-criteria decisions
