What it is about

You analyze and compare mobility innovations in a European metropolitan region and the Munich metropolitan region. In the end you can assess sustainable mobility measures, apply empirical social research methods and prepare results scientifically as well as presentation-ready.

What you will be able to do

• Apply theories and concepts of sustainable mobility planning
• Understand urban mobility challenges
• Identify trends and business models of mobility innovation
• Evaluate mobility innovations in terms of time, space and air quality
• Reflect on ethical, legal, cultural, economic and social implications
• Draw comparative conclusions between locations
• Collaborate interdisciplinarily and interculturally in teams
• Apply methods of empirical social research (interviews, observations)
• Present results to a specialist audience and develop them as discussion papers
