Project Laboratory Microrobotics

What it is about

You work on current research projects in micro-robotics. You conduct a literature review, plan and perform experiments on material development, fabrication, or actuation of microrobots and evaluate their performance in suitable liquids. In the end you will be able to independently design, perform, and evaluate experimental studies, and present the results in written and oral form.

What you will be able to do

• Conduct literature research on a specific research topic
• Design experiments to test scientific hypotheses
• Apply knowledge of materials and fabrication processes for microrobots
• Carry out and evaluate experiments for performance measurement of microrobots
• Critically understand and evaluate specialist literature in nano-/microrobotics
• Use practical insights to develop ideas for new devices
• Present results orally and in writing
