What it is about

You work on an anspruchsvolles problem from the field of the Master’s degree experimentally, constructively or theoretically. You plan and control a project in a team, apply fachliche Methoden and produce a scientific report. In the end you can independently develop solutions, critically evaluate them and document and present your results scientifically.

What you will be able to do

• Apply Fachwissen to complex problems
• Select and apply suitable methods for problem solving
• Create and implement a project plan including milestones
• Write a scientific paper according to citation rules
• Plausibilize and structure results
• Team- and cross-disciplinary communication

What the module consists of

• Projektarbeit im TeamExecution of the individual subproject within a larger project context; exchange and collaboration in the team
• EigenstudiumPreparation and post-processing as well as creation of the scientific write-up

Teaching method

• Projektarbeit im TeamSimulates activities of an engineer: problem definition, planning, execution, documentation
• Betreuung durch fachkundige/n Themenstellende/nIntroduction, provision of literature, guidance on project plan and technical questions
