What it is about

In the module you will gain an overview of technologies and components of the Hyperloop system, including magnetic levitation techniques, linear drives, aerodynamics in low-pressure environments, and safety-relevant aspects of passenger transport. After completion you will be able to classify the relevant technologies, assess their advantages and disadvantages as well as the interactions between the involved technical disciplines.

  • Evaluate dependencies between technical disciplines
  • Understand the physical fundamentals of magnetic levitation technology
  • Classify technical solutions of linear motors

  • Recognize the importance of safety for passenger transport from a technical perspective
