Experimentelle Vibroakustik

What it is about

You will learn methods of experimental vibroacoustics for the practical investigation of vibration systems in structural dynamics and acoustics. You can plan and conduct measurements (sensor selection, measurement chain, parameter settings), process and evaluate measurement data in time and frequency domains, and implement system identification and practical applications.

What you will be able to do

• Reproduce and apply fundamental concepts and methods of experimental investigations in structural vibration and acoustics
• Recognize different vibration systems and derive appropriate measures for high-quality measurements
• Identify properties of discussed methods for specific applications and assess their applicability
• Plan and conduct measurements (sensor selection, measurement chain, parameter settings)
• Organize, process, and analyze datasets and vibration systems
• Derive practical conclusions from measurements
