In this module you will learn physically relevant phenomena in gas–liquid multiphase flows and how they can be described using the fundamental equations of thermo-fluid dynamics (conservation laws for mass, momentum and energy). By the end you will be able to analyze typical multiphase processes, explain instabilities and heat input in two-phase flows, and apply suitable modelling approaches.
