Construction Logistics, Equipment, and Robotics

What it is about

In this module you will learn how robotics, automated devices and logistics are used in construction projects. You will apply a Robotics Evaluation Framework (REF), evaluate real robotic systems from industry partners and reflect on technical, organizational and sustainable aspects of construction robots.

What you will be able to do

• Evaluation of construction robots based on the Robotics Evaluation Framework (REF)
• Analysis of product, process and organizational aspects as well as safety, quality, time and cost
• Classification of robotics solutions within sustainability dimensions (Equity, Economic, Ecological)
• Understanding forms of human-robot collaboration
• Application of VDC perspectives to robotics in the construction context
• Practical project work with industry partners and presentation of results
