Praxisseminar Numerische Methoden in der Strukturdynamik

What it is about

In this practical seminar you will deepen numerical methods of structural dynamics and apply them practically. In the end you will be able to create finite element models for vibration problems, apply suitable algorithms for solving dynamic tasks, and evaluate simulation results, also using commercial software (MATLAB, ANSYS).

What you will be able to do

• Apply the setup and process of a FE program for vibration problems
• Select suitable numerical algorithms for dynamic problems and use them efficiently
• Analyze results of dynamic simulations, also with ANSYS
• Evaluate steps for solving free vibration, harmonic response and transient dynamics
• Apply the theory of finite elements and develop a discretized model
