Interaction Programming (Block Course)

What it is about

You develop an interactive chat app in a six-week block course and learn to apply HTML, CSS and JavaScript (including jQuery) step by step. In the end you will be able to implement your own interactive web applications and practically use core concepts such as DOM manipulation, API usage and AJAX.

What you will be able to do

• Apply HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals
• Analyze HTML code (media elements, external resources, separation of CSS)
• Apply CSS properties purposefully for appealing interfaces
• Understand basic programming concepts (e.g. loops, arrays)
• Apply advanced JavaScript concepts as well as fundamentals of Web APIs, JSON and AJAX
• Create interactive web apps
