What it is about

You will learn the physical foundations of fluids from the molecular to the continuum scale. The course combines molecular dynamics, kinetic theory, and classical continuum and gas dynamics, covers boundary layers, interfacial flows, phase transitions, as well as the emergence of multi-scale systems and turbulence, and enables you to physically analyze flows and develop models.
