What it is about

You study the thermomechanical behavior of metallic materials under process-related temperature cycles, as they occur in welding and in additive manufacturing. To do this, you carry out experiments on a thermo-physical simulator (Gleeble), supplemented by mechanical tests and metallographic analyses.
