You learn the physical fundamentals of neutron and reactor physics: diffusion, burn-up theory and eigenvalue equations for critical reactors as well as mechanisms of absorbers, reactor poisons and reactivity feedbacks. In the end you will be able to solve diffusion and eigenvalue problems in different geometries and explain various reactor types and their key figures.
