Digital Sustainability Transformation of, by and for the TUM

What it is about

In this module you explore the interfaces between sustainability and digitization and how universities like TUM can shape these transformations. You will learn about four thematic fields (Common-Good-AI in Smart Cities, intelligent sustainable mobility, circular economy & smart waste management, Green Finance) and gain insights into opportunities, risks and approaches to design, and you can subsequently reflect critically as well as develop local courses of action.

What you will be able to do

• Understand and critically discuss sustainable and digital transformation processes
• Analyze interactions of digitization and sustainability in concrete fields of action
• Derive your own design possibilities for transformations in your immediate environment
