Ethics for Engineers: Foundations, Theories, and Applications

What it is about

You gain a systematic introduction to normative ethics with a view to engineering applications. You will learn central metaethical positions and the three main traditions (Virtue ethics, Deontology, Consequentialism), consider additional perspectives, and apply these theories to engineering case studies (e.g., sustainable energy, autonomous systems, biomedicine) to develop reasoned course of action recommendations.
