Introduction to Business Law (MiM)

What it is about

You will learn the legal foundations for technology-oriented companies in Germany and the EU. By the end you will be able to recognise, analyse and evaluate in writing typical legal questions in contracts, liability, company law, IP and competition law.

What you will be able to do

• Name and understand the legal framework for technology companies in Germany and the EU
• Identify and avoid problems when dealing with legal questions in foreign languages/transnational contexts
• Apply the basic principles of contract, tort/liability, corporate law, IP and competition law
• Analyse legal consequences of typical business situations and derive courses of action
• Present the results of the analysis in a structured written document
