Integrated Design Projectweek

What it is about

In this intensive project week you work interdisciplinarily on the integration of structural analysis, climate and space. In the end you will be able to analyze and translate connections between structure, daylight management, natural ventilation and passive heating/cooling measures into design concepts as well as large physical models (scale 1:50–1:20).

What you will be able to do

• Identify complex relationships of structural analysis, climate and space and translate them into design solutions
• Independently analyze and reflect on the constructive logics of a building
• Evaluate opportunities and limitations in sustainable building design
• Independently access relevant literature, reference projects and contextual information
• Concretize and communicate designs using drawings, models, visualizations and texts
• Engage in critical discourse on spatial-constructive questions and reflect on one's own work in the discourse

What the module consists of

• ProjektarbeitZentrale Arbeit: Entwicklung eines Entwurfs, Recherche, Zeichnungen und Bau eines großmaßstäbigen Modells
