What it is about
You learn physical principles that determine the behavior of cells and their building blocks, e.g. fluid mechanics at low Reynolds numbers, diffusion, gene regulation, reaction kinetics, conformational dynamics, enzymatic catalysis, polymer elasticity and membrane physics. By the end you can explain dynamic and steady-state properties of macromolecular state changes and bimolecular reactions and classify terms such as entropy elasticity, dissociation constant, transition state and transition rate, as well as describe enzymatic catalysis.
