Written examCalculation tasksComprehension questions
Written examination, 180 minutes. The exam will assess calculations and comprehension questions that demonstrate attainment of the learning goals (e.g., setting up Feynman rules, calculating one-loop corrections, applying regularization and renormalization, deriving effective field theories, determining Noether currents and Ward identities, calculating the beta function). Participation in tutorials is highly recommended. Bonus: Those who meet the mid-term performance (50% of exercises completed, at least two subproblems solved on the board, regular and active participation) receive a one-time grade improvement by one grade step (+0.3) for the module exam in the immediately following examination period, with 4.3 not upgraded to 4.0.
