What it is about
You will learn the theoretical foundations of quantum many-body physics, common methods and typical phenomena. In the end, you can apply these methods computationally and explain the phenomena discussed at the level of the presented models.
What you will be able to do
- Understanding of central concepts of quantum many-body physics
- Application of analytical methods to typical problems in the field
- Development of computational skills in many-body calculations
- Ability to explain solution paths independently and coherently
What the module consists of
- LecturesConveying the theoretical foundations, methods and exemplary phenomena (blackboard talk)
- ExerciseDeepening through homework and discussions; promoting independent explanation by students under supervision
Teaching method
- Blackboard talkUsed for the structured conveyance of theoretical content
- Homework with exercise discussionDeepening of methods through own application and promotion of analytical thinking
