Investment and Financial Management (MiM)

What it is about

You will gain a broad understanding of the instruments for analyzing and evaluating investment opportunities and learn how companies make financial decisions. In the end you will be able to apply performance metrics of companies, create investment and capital budgeting plans, and evaluate optimal capital structures (with and without taxes).

• Name and apply key metrics of corporate performance
• Create optimal capital structure without taxes (Modigliani-Miller)
• Evaluate the tax shield and capital structure with taxes
• Analyze and evaluate investment opportunities
• Create investment and capital budgeting plans
• Understand and apply fundamental theories of corporate finance
