Neutronen in Forschung und Industrie

What it is about

In this seminar you independently prepare a current topic on the application of neutrons in research and industry and present it. In the end you master literature research, the preparation of a scientific topic and its presentation in a lecture; additionally you gain an overview of methods and experiments in neutron scattering from the lectures of your fellow students.

What you will be able to do

apply basic methods of scientific literature research
prepare a specific topic based on scientific publications
present the topic in a lecture
obtain an overview of various methods and experiments in neutron scattering

SeminarPreparation and presentation of one's own scientific topic; participation in discussions

Teaching method

Lecture/Beamer presentationfor the presentation of one's topic and practice of presenting skills
Discussionfor critical exchange and deepening of the topics covered
Literature studyfor familiarization with the chosen topic and for researching scientific sources
