What it is about

You will gain an overview of economic tools for evaluating transport systems and infrastructure projects. By the end, you will be able to assess the economic aspects of transport systems, select suitable evaluation methods, and interpret their results for real-world projects.

What you will be able to do

• Understand methodological foundations of economic assessment of transport systems
• Assess economic aspects of transport systems and investments
• Evaluate the suitability of various evaluation methods for concrete questions
• Practically apply core theories of transport economics (e.g. external costs, marginal costs, cost-benefit, demand-supply, elasticities)
• Interpret results of quantitative assessments and derive recommendations
