Interdisziplinäre Summerschool Städtebau

What it is about

You work in interdisciplinary teams on urban planning questions: from existing negotiation processes you derive assessments (e.g., regarding sustainability and justice) and develop one or more short design concepts. In the end you will be able to analyze spatial, social and infrastructural features and design and present concepts for transformative interventions in urban space.

What you will be able to do

• recognize an urban planning problem and assess its relevance
• jointly develop solutions in an interdisciplinary team
• understand different urban planning interests and formulate negotiation proposals
• switch perspectives across disciplines and apply project management
• apply methods of urban analysis and design
• assess the scope and complexity of interdisciplinary research projects with high participation
