What it is about
You will gain an overview of therapeutic and diagnostic medical technology as well as the material class of plastics. You will learn basic concepts of biology/medicine for engineers, selected medical technology applications, regulatory and economic framework conditions, as well as fundamentals of plastic manufacture and processing. In the end you will be able to follow technical detailed solutions and assess the interaction between the body and medical technology products.
