Global Governance, Ethics, and Technology

What it is about

You will be introduced to theories and approaches at the interface of global governance, ethics and technology. You will learn how rulemaking and institution-building operate at the global level and apply the concepts to current policy fields such as cryptocurrencies, e-commerce, cybersecurity, global health, technical and environmental standards, intellectual property rights as well as technology development and transfer. In the end you will be able to apply the theories discussed to concrete policy problems and explain their differences to conventional theories.
