Foundations of Data Law and Regulation

What it is about

You learn the fundamentals of data law and regulatory policy at the European and international level. By the end, you will be able to explain central legal regimes (e.g., data protection, data economy, data competition, data exchange) as well as basic concepts such as data ownership, data access, Data Altruism, and data intermediaries, and identify legal questions in the data domain.

• development of independent research projects on data law topics
• formulation of proposals for public policy instruments
