What it is about

You will learn the history of technical innovations and mobility policy since the 19th century, structured in three decisive epochs: industrialization, the motor age, and the green transformation. In the end you will be able to name, evaluate and derive strategies for a sustainable transport development from central innovations, political framework conditions and their impacts on society and sustainability.

• Assess impacts of technology and policy on society and sustainability
• Evaluate positive and negative feedback processes between innovation and policy
