Comparative Capitalism

What it is about

You engage with debates in comparative politics and political economy, specifically with institutions and political causes and consequences of different capitalist systems. The focus is on developed democracies; the theories and analytical concepts can also be applied to other country groups. In the end you can critically analyze questions of comparative capitalism research and work on them theoretically as well as empirically.

• Application of theoretical concepts to existing or new societal problems
• Concise and effective presentation of empirical findings (oral and written)
