International Security

What it is about

In this module you will receive an introduction to theories and methods of international security. You will learn which causes of interstate and internal conflicts are discussed and which approaches the international community applies to conflict resolution. In the end you will be able to apply theoretical explanations to current conflict situations and compare different strategies of conflict management.

Understand theoretical explanations for interstate wars
Explain causes and dynamics of internal (civil) wars
Know conflict resolution strategies of the international community
Apply theories to real conflict situations
