AI-edited module sheet. Based on the TUMonline module description, edited for readability.Original in TUMonline

What it is about

You will learn the basics of remote sensing, artificial intelligence and how to use Google Earth Engine (GEE) as well as Google Colab to leverage satellite-derived information to support decisions before, during and after natural (and human-made) disasters. In the end you will be able to process Earth observation data, create maps and datasets with Python, GEE and Colab, and design applications for catastrophe support.

What you will be able to do

  • Understand the basic concepts of remote sensing, artificial intelligence, GEE and Google Colab
  • Utilize various Earth observation data sources
  • Create maps and datasets with Python, GEE and Google Colab
