Winter School Indo-German Partnership (IGP)

What it is about

You participate in a DAAD-supported Winter School within the Indo-German Partnership (IIT Bombay/Kharagpur – TUM). On site you collaborate with students and researchers from around the world, investigate climate-related impacts such as floods and droughts, and learn practical approaches to adaptation, mitigation and citizen science. In the end you will have interdisciplinary communication skills as well as foundational knowledge on politics, culture and technology in the context of climate change and sustainable development.

What you will be able to do

• Understanding political and cultural aspects in dealing with climate change
• Knowledge of technical developments for adaptation and mitigation
• Application of theoretical and methodological concepts of climate adaptation and mitigation
• Ability to communicate interdisciplinarily and internationally
• Conducting field research (e.g., observation, interviews, citizen science)
