Praxisprojekt (BSc)

What it is about

You will undertake a practice project with an external industry partner (domestic or abroad), in which you address political science questions at the interface with engineering and natural sciences. In the end you will be able to apply professional and methodological knowledge from the studies in a practice-oriented way, work interdisciplinarily, and present your results scientifically and in a way understandable to laypeople.

What you will be able to do

• conduct projects independently and with personal responsibility
• apply fundamental political science concepts and relevant neighboring disciplines (especially law, economics)
• analyze, evaluate, and apply theories and methods of political science in a solution-oriented manner
• link political science with engineering/natural science knowledge
• identify interdisciplinary work practices and test flexible problem-solving strategies
• communicate results and methods to both non-specialist and specialist audiences
• present scientifically to supervisors with justification
• improve personality development, communication skills, and conflict management
