Bachelor's Thesis

What it is about

You write a three-month Bachelor thesis on a political science topic, usually at the interface to engineering or natural sciences. In the end you can autonomously, systematically and scientifically process a research project and classify the results in writing within the scientific or professional-practical discourse.

What you will be able to do

• Independent scientific processing of a political science research project
• Application of subject-specific and methodological knowledge (qualitative/quantitative)
• Systematic research and presentation of the scientific state of the art
• Classification and discussion of the research results

What the module consists of

• Bachelor's ThesisMain component: autonomous preparation of the written final thesis within three months in collaboration with a supervising person from HfP, the TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology or the Technical University of Munich

Teaching method

• Application of learned research methods (qualitative/quantitative)for a well-founded engagement with the chosen scientific topic and the creation of the written documentation
• Literature research and evaluationfor the presentation of the scientific state of knowledge and for the justification of one's own question
