What it is about

You work in interdisciplinary teams on practice-oriented data analysis or software projects that connect technical methods with societal questions. In the end you will be able to plan, implement, evaluate and document a team project as well as present results multimodally and consider ethical and contextual aspects in computing projects.

What you will be able to do

  • Conceptualize, plan, design, implement and evaluate a project
  • Apply methods and models from multiple disciplines
  • Assess and fix risks and typical problems in data analysis and programming projects
  • Consider context, culture and ethics during the project
  • Communicate work and results clearly
  • Improve academic and professional communication and interaction skills

What the module consists of

  • TeamprojektHandling of a given task specification framework over the entire project lifecycle (planning, implementation, evaluation, documentation, dissemination)
  • PräsentationenRegular presentation of interim results and outcomes in the course
  • ÜbungenPractical application of methods and programming techniques in person and for homework

Teaching method

  • Teamarbeit an ProjektaufgabenPractises systematic data analysis and programming techniques as well as collaboration on concrete deliverables
  • Präsentationen von ZwischenständenFosters reflection, communication and feedback during the project course
