What it is about
You learn the basics of photonic quantum technologies: how photons are used as information carriers over long distances and how semiconductor elements generate quantum light, realize qubits and route or couple photons. In the end you can apply the fundamentals of single- and two-qubit states as well as light–matter interaction and assess various system-related advantages and disadvantages.
