STS-MINT

What it is about

You attend a lecture/seminar in an MINT subject (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) alongside this module and reflect on its content from the perspective of Science and Technology Studies (STS). In the end you can analyze the paradigms and practices of the MINT course you attended from an STS perspective and critically discuss the social, ethical and political dimensions of the respective field.

What you will be able to do

• Acquire knowledge in a selected MINT field
• Reflect on the paradigms and practices of the attended MINT teaching from an STS perspective
• Understand and critically discuss the social, ethical and political dimensions of the MINT field
• Prepare findings in writing and document them transparently
