What it is about

You will learn how AI systems are designed and developed so that people can practically use, understand, and trust them. In the end, you can connect concepts from Human-Computer Interaction and AI, design human-in-the-loop systems, and perform assessments of interpretability, transparency, and trustworthiness of AI systems.

What you will be able to do

  • Overview of the integration of AI into different areas
  • Analysis of the dynamics between humans and AI
  • Application of UX and Human-Factors principles in the design of AI systems
  • Critical evaluation of paradigms for interactive human-in-the-loop systems
  • Promotion of interpretability, transparency, and trust
  • Linking HCI and AI knowledge
  • Reflection on ethical and societal aspects of AI
