What it is about

You engage with the structural principles of aircraft and spacecraft: materials, lightweight design, stability, strength, and finite element modeling. In the end you will be able to appraise components and construction methods of wing and fuselage structures, explain loads and failure mechanisms, perform estimates of strength and stability, and undertake simple structural design.
