Neue Prozesse und Materialien in der Additiven Fertigung

What it is about

You will learn new and innovative processes and materials for additive manufacturing (primarily metals and ceramics). The focus is on process-related fundamentals, resulting microstructures and corresponding material properties, as well as current and future markets and research topics.

Name and describe new technologies and markets in additive manufacturing
Gaining an overview of current research and development topics
Identify industrial and novel materials as well as processing problems
Describe process-dependent challenges and phenomena
Determine the emerging microstructure and resulting material properties

What the module consists of

ÜbungReview and deepening of selected lecture content through practical and calculation examples; direct application with the tutor
