Hochschulpraktikum: Extended Reality Lab Additive Fertigung

What it is about

You will learn the basics of Extended Reality (Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality) and gain insights into selected additive manufacturing processes. In the lab you will practice handling VR systems, carry out virtual building tasks, and work in groups on practice-oriented topics that you will present and discuss.

• Explain the basics, differences and applications of VR/AR
• Describe selected additive manufacturing processes
• Operate VR systems and move independently in digital labs
• Conduct, analyze and document experiments in the VR lab
• Collaboratively research, prepare and present information
• Evaluate additive manufacturing processes using case studies
