Aerospace Materials Science and Processing

What it is about

You will gain fundamental knowledge of materials used in aerospace and learn their properties, failure mechanisms and manufacturing processes. At the end you will be able to assess important materials (polymers, metals, fiber-reinforced composites, high-temperature and functional materials, sandwich structures) as well as their tests and applications in aircraft and spaceflight, and make suitable material selections.
