What it is about

You engage with generative AI systems and their relationship to societal values. You will learn to apply ethical principles and frameworks, identify and mitigate bias, and apply methods such as auditing and red teaming to design AI systems responsibly.

What you will be able to do

  • Understand principles and frameworks for aligning generative AI with societal values
  • Critically evaluate the impact of generative AI on fairness, accountability, transparency and inclusion
  • Identify bias in generative models and apply countermeasures
  • Assess challenges in balancing innovation and ethical responsibility
