What it is about
In this module you repeat and deepen central areas of linear algebra and learn selected advanced topics of matrix analysis. You acquire skills in handling linear mappings, solution methods for linear systems, eigenvalue problems, as well as in formulating and solving matrix equations in the superoperator formalism.

- Understand the fundamentals of linear mappings
- Solve homogeneous and inhomogeneous linear systems
- Analyze and solve eigenvalue problems
- Handle families of commuting matrices
- Treat matrix equations in the superoperator-/Liouville-formalism
